Profit from Twitter

Maybe this is a little off topic, but I think this is really great to share with others:

Everybody knows what Twitter.com is. Not everyone knows that it is possible to earn money from it! Here is the secret:

If you have many followers on the Twitter (or if you don't have, you can get them simple and fast) you just need to send them a link to click on. If your followers click, you earn about 5 to 20 cents per click. The great thing is that you don't even need to own and maintain your own site or a blog! Just clock and register here and earn real money!
Just make sure you have enough quality followers that will check the links that you send.

Review of best web hosting options

Here are provided links to the major online tools for website making. This will be of a great help to see all these services here in one place. Just click on the title to access their website. But keep in mind all the free options have some limitations. Most of the limits are ads and domain name, which are provided by the host.

This list is going to be regularly updated and later I will provide their cost information.
For now explore that fits you best:

Weebly - Create a free website and a free blog

Weebly is the easiest way to create, upload a website, and share it with the world for free. From personal to professional sites, Weebly will enable you to spend your time on the most valuable part of your site, its content.

I find this as one of the most reasonable priced offers - just 47.88$/year (3.99$/month). Offer includes not only removing of Weebly ads and possibility to use your own domain name, but also it gives Google AdWords credit of 25$ and possibility to use 10 sites per account.

SiteKreator.com - Professional web site creation solution

SiteKreator provides a one-stop solution for creating captivating Web sites without any technical or artistic expertise necessary. With a full set of elegant designs, versatile branding options and interactive features.

Standard subscription is 239.4$ (19.95$/month)! Wow that tells a lot! This is way too expensive! The features offer templates and other stuff, but what is not bad is that they offer 5 email accounts as well. However, there are places where you can get more for much lower price.
... besides, they have a Pro account as well that costs... umm...

WIX - Create a Free website, Flash website builder and Flash MySpace Layouts

Create a free website or make free MySpace layouts and Flash MySpace layouts at Wix.com. It's easy and fun with Wix free Flash website builder.

I plaid around Wix for a while. I really like the features, which are so simple and look so good. A subscription that would remove ads and let you use your own domain is 99$/year (8.25$/month). It is not very cheap, but I think it is still reasonable.

Create a Free Website - Jimdo

Create your own homepage easily – and for free! 500 MB storage, load up 12.500 pictures, easy handling, own layout. For free and no previous knowledge required!

Jimdo also looks like a good offer. Basic package where you can use 1 domain of yours, get ad free page plus get one email account - all for 60 bucks per year. And of course, if you are fine with just one email address using your domain name.

Webon - Free website hosting, free website templates, free web publishing

Webon provides smart website publishing and hosting for free. Build the site you've always wanted by creating interactive, stylish and ad-free pages with Webon's powerful site creation platform. Try it now--no registration required.

This ad-free option costs 19.95$/year, which is cute. But you have other limits - your webpage will not have a gallery or a blog or something else. A workable option with gallery is 64.45$/year (5.37$/month).

SnapPages

SnapPages is a collection of online tools created to make your life easier. Tools for blogging, photo sharing, calendars and much more are being developed.

Using your own domain will cost you 96$/year (8$/month). Which is also not a bad option if we see all the features offered.

Freewebs.com (now Webs.com)

Make a free website, free hosting, free web hosting, free blog, online photo album, free web site, how to make a website, web hosting and more!

Custom domain name and 5 email addresses will cost you 99.95$/year (8.33$/month).

So, here is a comparison of the most popular website creation tools that will let you make a professional looking website, where you can use your own domain name and have no ads on your page:

Weebly -        47.88 $ / year (no email)
Jimdo -          60.00 $ / year (1 email)
Webon -         64.45 $ / year (no email)
SnapPages -  96.00 $ / year (no email)
Wix -                99.00 $ / year (no email)
Freewebs -   99.95 $ / year (5 emails)
SiteKreator - 239.40 $ / year (5 emails)

How to get a free website?

This question I have asked myself and explored the web for quite a while already. I have found out, that there are some options and tools that are available for free. However, they will not always satisfy ALL of your needs. So, you are left with two options - to bear some disadvantages or pay some cash...

There are some really neat offers like wix or jimdo or weebly - that let you create a website for free. However, you have to use their domain name, have their reference and a link somewhere in the header or footer. For me that looks like a main disadvantage as I want my site to look professional. So, it is possible to pay some money to the mentioned offers and get a nice website for a low cost.

I was also checking options like joomla and similar, but with little knowledge of website creation, even these excellent tools are overly time consuming if you are looking for a good looking site. There are tons of free designs available that can be editable, but it is rather hard to get what you want.

So, my point is - free is sometimes good, but not always the best, because you don't always get exactly what you want, besides you have to spend lots of time on that. But with a little cash you can get what you want.

Now I am up to compare some features and prices of website creation tools that are really simple (I mean it!) and allow you to make a professional site. It's comming soon!
